1) i will stop caring what other people think of me. i've got this thing where i try to impress people, but it's completely stupid and irrational. so i'm gonna have to try and stop that. cause the people i try to impress don't give a fuck about me and i shouldn't give a fuck about them.

2) stop procrastinating so much. seriously. i really need to try hard to do this.

3) write more! and write better too. and finish that model au. for real.

4) stop being so damn anxious and nervous about shit like schoolwork. Worrying doesn't help things at all and there's no use in it.

5) get a job/do volenteer work. i really need to get off my lazy ass and do useful shit.

6) exercise. i need to get in shape! yeah, basically.

7) stop being so obsessive about everything. like checking mail every other second cause i have nothing else to do or i'm trying ot avoid schoolwork.

8) stop fighting with my sister every time i come in contact with her. ...yeah, this ain't happening.

9) listen to more music. i seriously need more music on my ipod. i have a million albums i have saved on my computer, and i haven't gone though 95% of them.

10) Use LJ less. It's becoming more and more of a waste of time.

I hope everyone has a fantastic 2008 and achieves their new year resolutions and have a year full of happiness and success. It doesn't feel like a new year, but I'll treat it like a fresh start and a clean slate.

ETA:COBRA STARSHIP "THE CITY IS AT WAR" MUSIC VIDEO DUDE THIS VIDEO. I absolutely love the way they censor everything, even 'shoot 'em up'. AND PIES. AND COP!WENTZ. AND PIEEES.

I'm also short in Green Day pics. I remember having a million Green Day pics on my old computer, but I threw that one out and now I don't really have any! So if you're a Green Day fan, picspam me! And I would love if someone could direct me to somewhere where I could find sceen caps for Bullet in the Bible as well.

I've never done one before, but...love meme, anyone? I know not a lot of people are gonna do it, if any, but why the fuck not?

So, my spanish teacher is officially the Jerk of the Year. Seriously. Today he made one of the guys stand in front of the class and say that he was a pretty girl in spanish before he could go to the bathroom. I almost couldn't believe it. Then he encouraged domestic violence, saying something about how he would hit his child with a belt if he ever admitted he was a pretty girl. I was just about ot break my pencil in half. BUT THEN. It went into a 'discussion', for lack of a better word, about how he would send his child to gay rehab if his child was gay. I was going to stab his fucking eye out. I was scared I was actually gonna do it. He was probably kidding, but that doesn't justify any of that. What if someone in the class was gay? He or she would've probably been so offended.

And everyone around me keeps saying things like, 'This is so gay.' Why are some guys so ignorant? Am I just being stupid and oversensitive? Cause I really am, sometimes.

And I'm trying to find Rock Sound, with the MCR calendar in it, but I haven't started looking and I don't know if it's gonna be anywhere. Does anyone know where to buy it? Or someone feels like being a sweetheart and buying it for me? I'd pay you back, of course.

All I want for Christmas is for the people around me to be confident and believe in themselves. I want everyone to be happy. That definitely includes you, even if I don't know you. Um, happy December everyone. This was the most random post ever. I don't know how to stay on topic.

Oh my god, I just watched the first four episodes of Mighty Boosh instead of, you know, doing something useful, and it might be one of the weirdest things I've ever seen. xD But really, really funny.

So,um, I was late and they left without me. So no more hike for me. I feel horrible, though, cause I really needed the extra credit, and now I have to make the essay really good to make up for it. And I don't know if he'll even accept it cause the end of the marking period was yesterday. And at the train station, I saw my old chess instructor(Yeah, I'm a nerd) and I waved to him twice, right in front of him, and he didn't see me. It just makes me think I'm crazy. I remember thinking that I had seen my sister in Chinatown one time, except she turned around as soon as I saw her, but I'm positive it was her. Except she denied ever being in Chinatown. So I might be gonig insane. Anyone willing to make me feel better?

It's getting harder and harder to get up in the morning. It's just so cold. I wish it wasn't so cold. Now I remember why I hate winter.

So I failed my environmental studies test, and I have to write a essay on human-elephant conflict in Africa and Asia to make up for it, as well as go on a hike tomorrow. The essay was assigned last week and is due tomorrow, and I have yet to start it. Eh, whatever. I'll get it done, even if it is at the last minute. That's always how it is. I managed to drag one of my frends, Eva, into going to the hike with me, so it should be fun. Or not. After, we might come back to my home and watch Life On The Murder Scene, because she hasn't seen it yet. Now that'll be fun.
